Revelation Outdoor Management / Covenant Media of SC

The South Carolina division of our company was born when we aquired the Laurens and Orangeburg marketing area from Adams Outdoor.  On November 1, 2005, Rick Miles and Randy Bloemendaal began to operate this new acquisition.  During the next 12 months, we embarked on replacing most of the 30 sheet panels throughout the entire operation.  By making this investment, the plant would have new panels for posting and be uniform in size.  During the first year, it was also determined that we could better serve our clients with a central office location for both sales and operations.  We closed both of the offices that were aquired in the purchase and opened our office in Lexington. This office location is within a 70 mile radius of our entire market coverage area enabling greater efficiency.

Also during the first year, we obtained leases in Greenwood, South Carolina and built 4 bulletin faces and 16 poster panels.  This addition has increased our coverage of the micropolitan areas in the state.  Revelation Outdoor offers over 500 poster panels and over 100 bulletins to the advertisers of South Carolina.

Rick P. Miles

General Manager

Rick Miles has worked in the outdoor advertising industry since 1972. He has experienced all areas of the outdoor advertising business - from hand painting signs in the 70's, to operations, leasing, sales and eventually, management. He started his career with National 3M Advertising in Tampa Florida followed by service with Florida Outdoor Advertising, Melweb Signs, Whiteco Metrocom, Tri-State Systems, Outdoor Communications, Lamar, and Tri-State Outdoor Media Group. Rick is currently serving as President and General Manager of Revelation Outdoor Management.

Randy K. Bloemendaal

Regional and National Sales, Account Executive

Randy Bloemendaal grew up in Winter Haven Florida. After attending Polk Community College, Randy worked in the Real Estate business getting a start on his selling career. Randy began acquiring his advertising skills in the on premise sign business in Dallas Texas in 1979. In 1983 he returned to Florida to become General Manager of MelWeb Signs in the Fort Myers plant. This is where Randy began his outdoor advertising career and met current Revelation president, Rick Miles. Together, Randy and Rick went on to manage Whiteco Metrocom's Florida division and then Tri-State Systems in Tifton GA. Randy and Rick worked together at five different out of home media companies over the years. Randy's career, over the past 25 years, has encompassed such areas as regional and national sales, real estate management, account management, sales management and general management.

Jimbo Pratt graduated from Leesburg High School in Florida.  He attended the University of Florida on a football scholarship and graduated with a B.S. in Health and Human Performance.  After graduating Jimbo stayed in Gainesville Florida where he worked in the Automotive Industry for five years. Being one of twenty five salespeople, he earned salesman of the year two of the five years.  The last two years he was the Assistant  Finance and Insurance Manager. Moving to California Jimbo spent a year helping victims of the 1994 Northridge earth quake.  During his time in California he met the Dean of Marketing at Pepperdine University who owned and operated Antelope Valley Christian School.  Jimbo spent the next two years at the school as Principal and Assistant Football Coach. The Football Team won the CIF Championship in his first year with the team.  In addition to serving as Principal and Athletic Director, his pride and joy was overseeing the foreign exchange student program.  He and his family had over 20 students live with them during his time at the school. Jimbo got started in outdoor advertising with Martin Outdoor.  Martin was purchased by Chancellor Media and later by Lamar Outdoor.  Jimbo was promoted to Lease Manager while working with Lamar. In 2000, Jimbo became the Sales Manager of Fairway Outdoor in Palm Springs, Ca.  He left Fairway Outdoor in 2006 after they traded inventory with Lamar.  He accepted a similar position with Revelation Outdoor Management in  June of 2006. Jimbo has been married for 28 years to the former Karen McQueen.  They have three sons, James, Joshua, and David.
